Training and Development Specialist

Role Purpose

The Training & Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee onboarding, learning, and training programs across TAC Security. The role will ensure that new hires are effectively integrated into the organization while supporting continuous learning and professional development initiatives that enhance employee performance, productivity, and engagement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in onboarding, learning & development (L&D), employee training, instructional design, stakeholder management, and training coordination within a fast-paced technology or cybersecurity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding Management

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for all new hires across global locations.
• Develop and continuously improve onboarding programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Coordinate with HR, IT, Facilities, Finance, and Hiring Managers to ensure onboarding readiness.
• Conduct new hire orientation sessions and company induction programs.
• Ensure timely completion of onboarding documentation, policies, compliance training, and system access.
• Track onboarding effectiveness and gather feedback from new employees and managers.

Learning & Development

• Identify organizational training needs in collaboration with department heads and leadership teams.
• Design, coordinate, and manage technical, functional, leadership, compliance, and soft-skills training programs.
• Create annual learning and development calendars aligned with business objectives.
• Support employee career development initiatives and learning pathways.
• Coordinate external training programs, certifications, and professional development opportunities.

Training Program Development

• Develop training materials, presentations, guides, e-learning content, SOPs, and learning resources.
• Create role-based learning paths for technical, cybersecurity, product, sales, and support teams.
• Ensure training content remains current and aligned with business and industry requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop specialized learning content.

Compliance & Mandatory Training

• Manage compliance-related training programs including information security, data privacy, workplace conduct, POSH, and company policies.
• Monitor completion rates and maintain training records.
• Ensure employees complete mandatory training requirements within defined timelines.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate training documentation.

Employee Engagement & Knowledge Management

• Promote a culture of continuous learning across the organization.
• Support employee engagement initiatives through learning and development activities.
• Develop knowledge repositories, learning portals, FAQs, and training documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, webinars, and learning sessions across departments.

Training Administration & Reporting

• Maintain employee training records and learning management systems (LMS).
• Track training participation, completion rates, certifications, and learning effectiveness.
• Generate training reports and dashboards for management review.
• Measure training ROI and recommend improvements to learning programs.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with HR, department heads, managers, and leadership teams to deliver effective training solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor on onboarding and learning best practices.
• Coordinate with external training providers, certification bodies, and learning partners when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Learning & Development, or a related field.
• Certification in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Training Management, or HR is an advantage.
• 3–7 years of experience in onboarding, training, learning & development, or talent development roles.
• Experience working within technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or fast-growing organizations is preferred.
• Experience managing onboarding and employee training programs at scale.

• Experience managing certification and professional development initiatives.
