About this role
Trainee – Chartered Accountancy Firm
Manu Philip & Company, Chartered Accountants is looking for a Trainee to join our team at Kathrikadavu, Kaloor, Ernakulam.
This is an opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career to gain practical, hands-on exposure to various areas of professional accounting and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in accounting and bookkeeping assignments
- Assist with GST, Income Tax and TDS-related work
- Support statutory and tax audit assignments
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
- Handle basic MCA and ROC-related compliance work
- Maintain client records and supporting documents
- Learn and work with accounting and professional software
- Coordinate with clients and the internal team as required
Requirements
- 0–1 year of experience; freshers are welcome
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Commerce / B.Com / M.Com or related qualification preferred
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility
- Basic computer skills
