Trainee Engineer

Role & responsibilities : HVAC Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Design & Engineering:
• Develop HVAC system designs, layouts, and specifications based on project requirements and building codes.
• Perform calculations for heating, cooling loads, ventilation, and energy efficiency.
• Select appropriate equipment and components for system functionality and performance.
2. Project Planning & Coordination:
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure timely delivery of design documents and materials.
3. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, local building codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installation aligns with approved designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during construction.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Provide technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
5. Communication:
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
6. Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on advancements in HVAC technology and sustainable practices.
• Recommend improvements to processes or systems to enhance project outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile : BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

ITI in Electrical etc.
