Trainee Engineer

The client is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join their team in Chennai (Tiruvallur). This entrylevel position is designed for recent graduates or earlycareer professionals with 0 to 2 years of experience. The role focuses on supporting machine shop operations, maintenance and repair activities, and learning the fundamentals of maintenance engineering within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation and upkeep of machine shop equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Support maintenance and repair tasks, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and routine inspections.
• Collaborate with senior maintenance engineers to learn and apply maintenance engineering principles and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and production efficiency.
