Trainee Email Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Working on email marketing platforms
• Performing Email construction and coding using a combination of manual and

automated processes

• Develop email campaigns from PSD/Sketch as per specifications
• Communicating effectively within multiple project teams to complete the campaign

within timeline

• Ensuring campaigns are delivered with utmost quality thereby taking responsibility of

the campaigns

Skills Required:

• Proficient in the following languages: HTML & CSS
• Basic knowledge in how emails are coded HTML
• Must have coding experience for conditional logics in any programming language

Add-on skills for bonus points:

• Knowledge in writing of clean HTML & CSS as per coding best practices
• Responsive & fluid coding
• Understanding of UX design, Interaction design and Information Architecture design
• Knowledge of Email marketing best practices

• Good to have knowledge of the Major ESPs, Litmus, email marketing, anti-spam technologies and

the sender/receiver side of email a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred
• “Internship experience in writing HTML & CSS codes” is desirable
• Good knowledge/understanding of how HTML, CSS codes are written
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate highly detailed

technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

• Good to have knowledge in working within global setting
• Good to have organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple

projects

• Good communication skills
