Trainee Crane Electrician

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of cranes and heavy equipment.
• * Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• * Learn crane electrical wiring, control panels, motors, batteries and electrical components.
• * Learn to identify and rectify electrical faults.
• * Read and understand electrical wiring and circuit diagrams.
• * Use electrical testing tools such as a multimeter and a clamp meter.
• * Assist senior technicians during crane breakdowns and repairs.
• * Learn about sensors, relays, contactors, switches and safety systems.
• * Participate in crane inspection and maintenance activities.
• * Visit customer/project sites for maintenance and breakdown support.
• * Maintain maintenance and breakdown records.
• * Follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.
• * Gradually take responsibility for maintenance activities based on performance.

The 1-year training will cover:

Prior crane experience is **not mandatory**. Candidates with a strong interest in hands-on electrical maintenance and troubleshooting are encouraged to apply.
