About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Consultant to join our Audit & Accounting team. This position is ideal for a commerce graduate who is looking to build a career in accounting, auditing, taxation, compliance, and financial consulting.

The selected candidate will receive practical exposure and on-the-job training while assisting senior professionals in handling accounting and audit assignments for various clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and updating books of accounts for clients.
• Assist in preparation and review of accounting records, vouchers, ledgers, and supporting documents.
• Perform basic accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Assist in audit and assurance assignments, including verification of financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparation of audit working papers and documentation.
• Support the team in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance assignments.
• Assist in preparation of GST/TDS workings, reconciliations, and related documentation.
• Perform bank, ledger, GST and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Work with Tally / accounting software and MS Excel for day-to-day assignments.
• Collect, organize, and verify financial information received from clients.
• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary documents and information.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Support senior team members in research, analysis, and other professional assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and financial records.
• Continuously develop knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, audit procedures, and statutory compliances.

Eligibility

• B.Com / B.Com (Hons.) / M.Com or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is required.
• Knowledge of Tally and MS Excel will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of basic accounting concepts.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of Tally or other accounting software.
• Good numerical and analytical ability.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize documents and maintain proper records.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
