Trade Marketing Manager

1. Role Objective

Drive trade marketing planning, channel strategy, and high-impact field execution across retail, modern trade, and on-premise channels throughout Maharashtra to maximize brand visibility and secondary sales.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and track trade marketing plans, retailer promotion programs, and channel schemes.
• Manage Point of Sale Materials (POSM) procurement, allocation, distribution, and in-store visibility audits.
• Conceptualize and execute consumer activations, tasting trials, and promotional events in key retail and trade outlets.
• Oversee vendor sourcing, negotiation, and quality control for merchandising and POSM items.
• Collaborate closely with Field Sales teams to align trade strategy with regional sales targets and launch plans.
• Analyze trade spend effectiveness, promotion ROI, and competitive channel activations to optimize trade strategy.

3. Preferred Background & Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid trade marketing experience within Alcoholic Beverages or FMCG industries.
• Deep understanding of Maharashtra alcobev trade dynamics (retail, on-premise, distributor networks).
• Hands-on experience in vendor management, POSM production, and field execution.
• Strong quantitative skills for tracking promotion performance and trade budgets.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
