Trade Marketing Head

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business and sales objectives.
  
• Plan and manage trade promotions, schemes, discounts, visibility programs, and retailer engagement activities.
  
• Drive product visibility and brand presence across distributors, dealers, retailers, and other trade channels.
  
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to implement trade marketing initiatives effectively.
  
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, customer behaviour, and channel performance to identify growth opportunities.
  
• Develop and manage trade marketing budgets and ensure effective utilization of promotional spends.
  
• Plan and execute new product launches, seasonal campaigns, in-store promotions, and channel-specific activations.
  
• Monitor the effectiveness and ROI of trade promotions and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Develop merchandising guidelines and ensure proper implementation of branding and visibility standards at outlets.
  
• Manage relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key channel partners.
  
• Track sales performance, market share, distribution, and promotional effectiveness across trade channels.
  
• Conduct market visits and gather feedback from sales teams, channel partners, and customers.
  
• Prepare regular trade marketing MIS, performance reports, and management dashboards.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve distribution, retailer engagement, product penetration, and channel growth.
  
• Ensure timely execution of trade marketing plans within approved budgets and company policies.
  
• Lead and guide the trade marketing team and coordinate with regional sales teams for effective execution.
