Trade Finance Executive

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing day-to-day banking operations and trade finance activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and basic knowledge of SAP for transaction processing and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in banking operations and trade finance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Basic knowledge of SAP (FI module preferred).

• Ability to work under tight timelines and multitask effectively

Key Responsibilities:

1. Banking Operations:
• Handle daily banking transactions including payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
• Manage fund transfers, LC/BG payments, and monitoring of funds
• Coordinate with banks for queries, documentation, and compliance requirements.
2. Trade Finance Operations:
• Process import/export documentation for LC, BG, and other trade finance instruments.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal policies for trade transactions.
• Liaise with internal teams and banks for smooth execution of trade finance deals.
3. Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare MIS reports on banking and trade finance activities.
• Analyze fund utilization and working capital requirements.
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
4. System & Process Management:
• Leverage Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives.
