Job Title: Third-Party Inspector (TPI) Field Quality (Civil & Electrical)

Position Type: Ciel HR Payroll

Location: Project Sites, PAN India

Experience: 4+ Years (Renewable Energy, Power, BESS, Transmission)

Education: ITI / Diploma / Graduate(Civil/Electrical)

Key Responsibilities:

Civil Quality Inspection

•Conduct inspection of civil works including equipment foundations, trenches,cable ducts, RCC structures, MCR building, internal roads, and site grading.

• Verify workmanship and materials against approved drawings, specifications,and quality standards.

• Monitor concrete mix design, reinforcement placement, shuttering, and curing processes.

• Witness and verify field/lab testing for raw materials, concrete, and backfilling(e.g., cube testing, compaction testing).

• Review material test certificates, third-party lab reports, and ensure proper documentation.

Electrical Quality Inspection

• Inspect installation of electrical systems and equipment such as transformers, switchgear, control panels, cables, terminations, FSS, PCS, BMS, EMS, and earthing systems at receipt, process, and final inspection stages.

• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable electrical standards.

• Witness pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to QA/QC protocols.

• Ensure safety standards and statutory norms are strictly followed at site.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare detailed inspection reports with observations, non-conformities, and corrective action recommendations.

• Maintain comprehensive records of test certificates, calibration reports,inspection logs, and quality documents.

• Coordinate with site execution teams, clients, and vendors to resolve quality issues and ensure timely closure of NCRs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in field quality inspection, preferably in renewable energy, transmission, or BESS projects.

• Sound knowledge of IS/IEC codes, QA/QC procedures, and quality

documentation requirements.

• Prior experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of civil and electrical construction practices.

• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

• Ability to travel extensively and work independently at remote project sites.

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital inspection/reporting tools preferred.
