Role: Senior QA Engineer

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Location: Pune (On-demand lab presence may be required)

Job Summary

• 
  We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in TOSCA
• Automation and automation framework design. The ideal candidate should possess strong
• Testing fundamentals, cloud testing exposure, and experience working in Agile development environments.
• The role involves designing and implementing automation frameworks, executing end-to-end test strategies, and ensuring high product quality across cloud and enterprise applications.
• Senior QA engineers typically design automated testing strategies, maintain test frameworks,
  and collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable software releases.

• Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TOSCA.
  Develop and execute automated test cases for web, API, and backend systems.
• Participate in test strategy planning and framework design for automation.
• Perform API testing, database validation, and integration testing.
  Ensure quality across cloud environments (AWS / Azure).
• Collaborate with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Track defects and test progress using JIRA or other test management tools.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and automation failures.
  Contribute to continuous integration and automated testing pipelines.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive best practices in testing.
  QA engineers typically design test cases, execute automated tests, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to improve software quality.

• Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA Automation
• Experience in automation framework design and architecture
  Strong software testing fundamentals (STLC, test design techniques)
• Experience with API testing and database testing
  Proficiency in Agile testing practices
  Experience using JIRA or similar test management tools
  
• Additional Skills
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud testing
• Exposure to other automation tools (Playwright / Selenium / similar)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of integration and system testing
  
• Optional Responsibilities
• Perform device-level validation in lab environments when required to ensure proper integration between automotive devices and backend systems.
• Validate telemetry data sent from devices to cloud platforms and ensure accuracy of data displayed in applications.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to analyze device behavior and troubleshoot integration issues.
  
• Domain Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in Automotive or connected device platforms
• Experience testing IoT systems, vehicle software, or device integrations

  Ability to work in cross-functional Agile teams
  Experience mentoring junior QA members
  
• Education
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology
• Testing certifications (ISTQB or equivalent) are a plus.
