Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned, visionary, and dynamic Top Management Leader (Plant Head / VP Operations) to oversee and drive manufacturing and plant operations across our facilities in South / West India. The ideal candidate will possess deep operational expertise in process or discrete manufacturing (Oil & Gas, FMCG, Power, or Heavy Engineering), a proven track record of P&L management, P&L optimization, capacity scaling, cost leadership, operational excellence (TPM/Lean/Six Sigma), and robust team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & P&L Operations

• Drive operational strategy, unit profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end plant management including Production, Quality Control, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), and HR/IR.
• Lead capital expenditure (CAPEX) expansion, plant automation, and technology integration initiatives.

Operational Excellence & Cost Leadership

• Implement and sustain continuous improvement frameworks (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, Kaizen).
• Optimize yield, reduce conversion/production costs, and minimize downtime to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
• Drive digital transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0 standards across manufacturing operations.

EHS, Compliance & Regulatory Management

• Ensure 100% adherence to statutory, environmental, safety, and labor regulations across state and national frameworks.
• Promote a zero-harm culture and maintain world-class Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and build high-performing multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and operational teams.
• Foster positive Industrial Relations (IR), local community engagements, and government liaisoning.

Candidate Profile & Desired Skills

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Production, or relevant Engineering discipline from a top-tier institute.
• MBA / Post-Graduate in Operations Management from a premier institute is highly preferred.

Work Experience

• 18 25+ years of rich post-qualification experience in manufacturing plant operations, process engineering, or heavy industrial operations.
• At least 5–8 years in a senior leadership role (Plant Head / VP / GM) managing large workforce plants in Oil & Gas, FMCG, Power, Continuous Process, or Heavy Manufacturing.
