Job Summary
We are seeking a Tooling & Maintenance Engineer responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving
tools, dies, fixtures and related manufacturing equipment. The role will support production continuity, tooling
quality, preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of tools, dies and fixtures.

Inspect tooling condition and identify wear, damage, dimensional issues and potential failures.

Carry out tool repair, modification, reconditioning, sharpening, fitting and replacement of worn components.

Troubleshoot tooling-related production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Support new tool trials, tool development, validation and improvement activities.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering and external vendors for tooling-related issues.

Maintain tooling maintenance schedules, service history, checklists and technical records.

Ensure tool accuracy, availability and performance to meet production and quality requirements.

Monitor tooling downtime, rejection, wear and maintenance costs and implement corrective actions.

Follow 5S, TPM, safety procedures and standard maintenance practices.

Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of tooling, dies, fixtures, jigs and mechanical components.

Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Ability to read engineering drawings, tolerances and basic GD&T.;

Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer and gauges.

Education & Experience
Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Tool & Die, Production or a related discipline or Any Graduate. 24 years of relevant
experience in tooling maintenance, automotive manufacturing,
