Tool Room Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage tool room operations, including planning, organizing, and controlling daily activities to meet production schedules.
  
• Supervise a team of tool makers and operators to ensure efficient use of resources and quality output.
  
• Develop and implement effective maintenance programs for tools and equipment to minimize downtime and extend lifespan.
  
• Collaborate with design engineers to develop new tools and molds for manufacturing processes.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-18 years of experience in a similar role within the auto components industry.
  
• Diploma in Tool And Die Making or equivalent qualification required; ITI (Tool & Die) preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of tool making, tool maintenance, and tool room operations essential.
• Candidates from Kanchipuram or nearby areas. Candidates willing to relocate to Kanchipuram may also be considered.
