Tool Room Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for all tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Attend tool breakdowns and restore production in minimum time.
• Monitor tool life and schedule timely refurbishment.
• Manufacture and modify tools as per production requirements.
• Coordinate with design and production teams for new tool development.
• Support engineering changes and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain tool history records and maintenance logs.
• Control tool room inventory, consumables, and spare parts.
• Ensure all repaired and manufactured tools meet drawing specifications.
• Support dimensional inspections and quality improvements.
• Maintain calibration status of gauges and measuring instruments.
