Tool Maintenance Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on plastic injection molds to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
• Troubleshoot issues with mold design, material selection, or manufacturing process to resolve defects or quality problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in mold design and implement changes as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of molds to detect signs of wear or damage, making recommendations for repairs or replacement as necessary.

Job Requirements :

• 4-10 years of experience in plastic injection molding industry with a focus on mould maintenance.
• Strong understanding of mould design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to mold design.
