Tool Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1) Design & develop tooling, Jigs, and fixtures, for Aerospace parts and Assembly products.

2) Jigs & Fixture Design, Modelling and detailing of fixtures as per the Manufacturing plan, subassemblies and components using SoldWorks.

3) Design release and follow-up on manufacturability, assembly to alter or revise dimensions, materials, or tolerance limits as per the needs.

4) Implementation of AS1900 standards and discipline in the design processes.

5) Review and support with CFT teams for design realization.

Ensure quality and delivery deadlines with high quality.

Must Have Competencies:

1) Min 1+ years of work experience in Tooling/Jigs and Fixture design using Experience on SolidWorks.

2) Knowledge of CNC machines & their capabilities.

3) Selection of CNC machines, work holding design, processes.

GD&T proficiency.

Preferred Competencies:

1) Proficient in CATIA V5.

2) Adhering to Quality Manual and AS9100 Rev D requirements.

3) Added advantage on Composite tooling design experience
