Position Overview

The Team Lead - Accounts Receivable will be responsible for managing end-to-end AR operations for an international client account, while leading the team to achieve defined SLAs, KPIs, quality, and productivity targets. The role requires strong expertise in Cash Application, Collections, Customer Master, Reconciliations, Aged Debt, Direct Debit, and Mailbox Management, along with experience in team handling, client interactions, reporting, process governance, and continuous improvement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations, including Cash Application, Customer Master, Collections, Aged Debt Reviews, Reconciliations, Direct Debit administration, and Mailbox Management.
• Lead and monitor day-to-day team operations, ensuring achievement of SLAs, KPIs, productivity, accuracy, and quality targets.
• Handle operational escalations and client queries, acting as the first point of contact and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare and review operational reports, dashboards, MIS, and governance updates for internal leadership and client stakeholders.
• Manage team performance and development through regular coaching, feedback, workload allocation, performance discussions, and cross-training.
• Drive process governance and continuous improvement by ensuring SOP compliance, audit readiness, documentation accuracy, and identifying opportunities for automation and process efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Education - B.com/BBA/ M.com/ MBA
• Experience: 6-10 years in Accounts Receivable
• Team Handling: Minimum 1-2 years of team management/team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in Shared Services/BPO environment preferred
• Exposure to Power BI, automation, and process improvement initiatives is an added advantage
