TIG WELDER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and prepare base metal before welding
• perform TIG welding as per drawing / WPS
• set welding machine parameters correctly
•  Weld basic joints ( butt,fillet, lap) 
• use shielding gas / purging correctly 
• Visually inspect welds for defects
• Maintain equipment and work area
• Follow safety procedures ( PPE,fire,gas handling )
• Report defect/ issues to supervisor
• maintain daily production logs

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

• Titanium welding
• X-Ray Qualification 
• Reading and setting welding parameters
• Material preparation and cleaning
• Shielding Gas handling

QUALIFICATIONS

• ITI Certificate,Diploma in engineering (any relevant stream)
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in TIG welding, precision fabrication,and working with stainless steel,alioy steels,or pressure piping.
• Experience in oil and gas, marine,heavy manufacturing,structural febrication,or industrial piping sectores is an advantage
