Thought Machine Vault / Smart Contract Developer | GeakMinds

About:

We are looking for an experienced Thought Machine Vault Developer with strong Python skills and hands-on experience developing and supporting Smart Contracts on Thought Machine Vault Core.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Vault Smart Contracts using Python.
• Work with Vault hooks, parameters, postings, balances, schedules and account lifecycle events.
• Implement and support financial behaviours such as repayments, fees, payment schedules, arrears, reversals and account adjustments.
• Develop and maintain unit and Vault simulation tests.
• Troubleshoot Smart Contract, configuration and production issues.
• Support releases, deployments and production incidents.
• Work with QA and integration teams to validate financial transactions and end-to-end behaviour.

Must Have

• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on Thought Machine Vault Core experience.
• Proven experience developing or maintaining Vault Smart Contracts.
• Good understanding of hooks, postings, parameters, balances and scheduled events.
• Experience with Vault unit/simulation testing.
• Good understanding of financial transactions and ledger concepts.
• Git and CI/CD experience.

Good to Have

• Experience in banking, lending or premium finance.
• REST APIs and Kafka/event-driven systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting Vault in production.
