About this role
Thermal Hydraulics Engineer | Pune
Join a deep-tech team building a sodium-cooled nuclear reactor from the ground up.
Model heat transfer & liquid-sodium flow
Perform system-level thermal-hydraulics & CFD analysis
Develop and extend in-house simulation codes
Translate heat/fluid-flow theory into computational models
Looking for: Strong fundamentals in heat transfer + fluid mechanics, computational simulation experience, and coding skills in C / Fortran / Python.
Experience with RELAP5, TRACE, CATHARE, SAM, SASSYS, STAR-CCM+ or OpenFOAM is a plus.
Researchers/engineers from IGCAR, BARC, IIT Kanpur and strong heat-and-fluid engineers from aerospace or related domains are encouraged to apply.
