Role Description The Therapy Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for driving the adoption and growth of GLEE’s therapy-focused product portfolio. This role involves regularly meeting healthcare professionals to provide scientific information, product updates, and therapy-area education. The Therapy Manager will plan and execute territory-wise marketing and outreach activities, including clinician visits, CMEs, and other engagement initiatives. They will analyze market trends, gather feedback from healthcare partners, and share insights with internal teams to support product positioning and strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities also include achieving sales and therapy penetration targets, maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, medical affairs, and supply chain.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare products and therapy areas, with the ability to explain clinical and scientific information clearly and accurately.
- Proven experience in field-based roles such as medical representative, therapy manager, or similar position in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability in territory planning, time management, and meeting defined targets and performance metrics.
- Comfort with data collection, basic analysis of market trends, and reporting to support decision-making and strategy refinement.
- Ability to work independently in an on-site, field-oriented environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related healthcare discipline; an advanced degree or MBA in Marketing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ethical promotion practices, industry regulations, and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets, presentation software) to manage territory data and communication.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required to meet healthcare partners and support therapy initiatives.
