Job Description TGT History & Civics

Qualification: B.A./M.A. in History or Political Science with B.Ed., as per applicable eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach History and Civics to Classes VI–X.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
• Develop students’ understanding of historical events, democratic values, and the Indian Constitution.
• Conduct engaging classroom discussions and activities.
• Assess student progress and provide remedial support.
• Maintain classroom discipline and participate in school activities.
• Coordinate with parents and colleagues to support academic development.

Experience: Relevant teaching experience preferred.

Skills Required: Strong subject knowledge, effective communication, classroom management, and engaging teaching methodologies.
