Job Summary

Presidency School, Mangalore, is looking for a qualified and dedicated TGT Hindi Teacher to teach Hindi and support students' academic development. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to create an engaging and disciplined classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Hindi to middle and secondary school students as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Develop students' Hindi reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills.
• Evaluate students' performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
• Maintain academic records and prepare progress reports.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school activities.
• Support the overall academic and extracurricular development of students.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hindi.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred or as required under applicable norms.
• Prior teaching experience in a recognised school is preferred.
• Strong command of Hindi language and grammar.
• Good communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching and committed to student development.
• Preference will be given to local candidates from Mangalore who can join immediately.
