Job Summary

Heblox Private Limited is looking for an experienced Testing & Validation Engineer specializing in Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in lithium-ion battery pack testing, Battery Management System (BMS) testing, thermal testing, cell testing, and component-level validation.

Important: Candidates must have relevant experience in ESS/BESS testing. Candidates whose experience is limited to electric vehicle (EV) battery testing will not be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Perform testing and validation of lithium-ion battery packs used in ESS/BESS applications.

Conduct BMS functional testing, performance validation, protection testing, and fault analysis.

Perform thermal testing, temperature monitoring, and thermal performance validation of battery systems.

Conduct battery cell testing, including voltage, capacity, internal resistance, and performance evaluation.

Execute component-level testing and validation of battery system components.

Conduct charge-discharge cycle testing, performance testing, and reliability assessments.

Validate battery pack performance under different operating conditions and load profiles.

Identify failures, investigate root causes, and prepare corrective action reports.

Prepare test plans, test procedures, technical reports, and validation documentation.

Ensure testing activities comply with applicable safety procedures and relevant ESS/BESS standards.

Coordinate with battery design, BMS, hardware, and engineering teams to resolve testing issues.

Support product qualification, system integration, and validation activities for energy storage solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

3–4 years of hands-on experience in ESS/BESS battery testing and validation.

Proven experience in lithium-ion battery pack testing.

Practical knowledge of BMS testing, thermal testing, cell testing, and component testing.

Understanding of battery performance parameters, charge-discharge cycles, and battery protection mechanisms.

Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and prepare technical reports.

Knowledge of battery testing equipment, validation procedures, and laboratory safety practices.

Mandatory Industry Requirement

Candidates must have direct experience in Energy Storage Systems (ESS) or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
