Testing Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Testing Engineer role based in Nashik. The Testing Engineer will perform day-to-day activities including planning, preparing, and executing test procedures for electrical power systems and associated equipment. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing test cases, conducting functional testing, documenting test results, and reporting defects or issues. The role involves collaborating with design, installation, and commissioning teams to ensure systems meet technical specifications and safety standards, as well as supporting troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing of electrical power systems.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Test Execution and working with detailed Test Cases.
• Candidates should possess proven capabilities in Functional Testing of AIS/GIS or similar medium and heavy-duty electrical systems.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety practices, and quality assurance procedures for electrical installations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site in industrial environments.
• Prior experience in installation, commissioning, or maintenance of power systems is an advantage.
