We are looking for a Testing Engineer to join our CT/PT (Current Transformer / Potential Transformer) manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for electrical testing, inspection, documentation, and quality verification of instrument transformers as per applicable standards and customer requirements.

Job Description
We are looking for a Testing Engineer to join our CT/PT (Current Transformer / Potential Transformer) manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for electrical testing, inspection, documentation, and quality verification of instrument transformers as per applicable standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and type tests on CT, PT/VT and instrument transformers.
- Conduct ratio, polarity, winding resistance, insulation resistance (IR) and excitation/knee-point tests.
- Perform accuracy, burden, magnetizing current and phase-angle error tests.
- Carry out High Voltage (HV) / dielectric withstand tests as per approved procedures.
- Verify test results against drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
- Operate and maintain testing equipment and instruments.
- Prepare test reports, inspection reports and test certificates.
- Identify testing failures and coordinate with Production/Quality teams for corrective action.
- Ensure proper safety procedures during high-voltage testing.
- Maintain testing records and calibration status of equipment.
- Support FAT/customer inspection and troubleshooting when required.
- Diploma Electrical Engineering – Freshers can apply.
- B.E./B.Tech Electrical Engineering – Freshers can apply.
- Experience: 0–1 year preferred; fresh graduates with good electrical fundamentals are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of CT/PT, transformers, electrical measurements and testing is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/testing environment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and transformers.
- Understanding of CT/PT testing principles.
- Knowledge of electrical measuring instruments.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and test specifications.
- Basic knowledge of IS/IEC standards is an advantage.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Safety-conscious approach to high-voltage testing.
