Automation Testing Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Katalon, strong programming skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure client satisfaction and minimize defects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Katalon.
• Perform test planning, smoke testing, and overall test execution to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any client-reported issues and implement corrective actions.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Focus on minimizing client-reported defects and ensuring high-quality output.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5-8 years of strong experience in Automation Testing with hands-on exposure in Selenium, Katalon Studio, or similar tools.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Javascript, or Python.
• Proven ability to perform test planning, smoke testing, and overall test execution.
• Effective client communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and deliverables.

Preferred Skills:

• ISTQB Certification (Foundation/Advanced Level) is a plus.
• Selenium Certification or equivalent automation certification is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
