Test Lead

Job Summary

Own end-to-end defect governance, triage management, RCA reviews, defect attribution, SLA compliance, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely defect resolution and quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily defect triage meetings.
• Prioritize defects based on business impact and severity.
• Drive defect lifecycle governance and SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with Development, Testing, Product, and Business teams.
• Track defect leakage, aging, and closure metrics.
• Facilitate RCA discussions and preventive actions.
• Publish defect dashboards and governance reports.
• Support release readiness assessments.

Required Skills

• Experience 5-8 years of testing experience.
• 3+ years in defect governance or triage management.
• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management.
• Banking and Digital Banking experience.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good to Have Experience in Managed Services engagement.
• Knowledge of DRE and Quality KPIs.
• Exposure to AI-based defect analytics.
