Role: Assistant Manager- Lab Testing
Location: Gurgaon/Sricity, India

About The Role This role will develop plan and execute projects to setup HVAC Labs
Job Responsibilities
- Lab Operations and Product testing: Manage lab operations, including planning, testing, and analyzing test data & lab results, ensuring efficient lab operations.
- Safety Protocols and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations during the installation, testing, and maintenance of HVAC systems, focusing on refrigerant handling and environmental standards.
- Piping and Refrigerant Handling: Install piping, ensuring correct measurements and connections using welding and brazing equipment. Recharge refrigerant and leak testing to maintain system efficiency.
- Meeting the end-to-end testing requirements of different clients (Internal/external) as per customer specific requirements as well as Standard’s requirements with responsibility for Reliable and Accurate results.
- Maintenance and Servicing: Lead maintenance and servicing operations for HVAC systems, ensuring routine checks and repairs were performed on key components like compressors, valves, circulating pumps, cooling tower and gauges.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure lab operations & testing as per regulatory & compliance requirements and support Audits/inspections of regulatory bodies like AHRI, NABL etc.
Education Preferred Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Required Skills
- Sound Technical knowledge for the testing as per Indian and International Standards for HVAC Products
- Sound knowledge of HVAC test Lab Operations.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements & HVAC Standards (NABL/BEE etc.).
- Strong Interpersonal Skills & Stakeholders management
Experience Preferred Lab Operations Management & New lab set up expertise (min 5 years of experience as above) required as below:
Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set
- Strong Product Testing & Lab operations competency
- Experience of all HVAC Product testing including Chiller/VRF
- Rich knowledge on Lab KPI finalization & validation of lab results
- Experience of managing test certification & compliance requirements
- Knowledge of standards & regulations related to testing of products.
Other Competencies
- Understanding of the entire product Qualification/validation process.
- English communication skills - oral and written.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving are the key
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and products is necessary.
- Passionate about high-quality results/reports.
- Self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative, balance demand load & prioritize
