What will you do? · Analyse complex business requirements, functional specifications, and domain models to define effective test strategies for enterprise-grade applications. · Design, document, and execute comprehensive test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, system, and acceptance testing. · Collaborate closely with Business Engineers to ensure solutions meet business intent and quality expectations. · Translate business processes, conceptual models, and system behaviour into structured test cases and validation scenarios. · Using XLINQ test DSL, write test scenarios to ensure generated applications accurately reflect business requirements and domain logic. · Work with Business Engineers to identify gaps, inconsistencies, risks, and potential failure scenarios early in the development lifecycle. · Perform end-to-end testing of complex transactional workflows in environments where reliability, security, and compliance are critical. · Contribute to test automation strategies and implement automated testing solutions where applicable. · Analyse test results, investigate defects, provide clear defect reports, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive resolution. · Participate in requirements reviews, design discussions, and quality improvement initiatives. · Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and quality standards. · Contribute to building reusable testing approaches for composable architectures and model-driven development environments.
What are we looking for? Experience · 5–10 years of experience in software testing including test automation, quality engineering, test analysis, or similar roles within complex software environments. · Experience testing enterprise applications in domains such as banking, payments, financial services, energy, healthcare, or public sector is preferred. · Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills Strong experience with: · Understanding requirements and write test scenarios · Functional, integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing. · Testing automation using standard available tools · Test case creation, execution, documentation, and reporting. · Defect lifecycle management and root-cause analysis. · Data validation and database testing using SQL. · API testing and service-level validation. · Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes. Experience with: · Test automation frameworks and tools · API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent. · CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates. · Model-driven development, DSLs, code-generation concepts, or composable architectures is an advantage.(nice to have) · Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, SQL, or similar).
Domain & Analytical Skills · Ability to understand complex business domains and translate business rules into meaningful test scenarios. · Experience testing systems where security, reliability, auditability, and compliance are key requirements. · Strong understanding of data flows, business processes, and system integrations. · Ability to identify edge cases and hidden risks in complex transactional processes. · Experience working with financial products, payments, KYC, lending, or core banking systems is a strong advantage.
