Job Summary:

- Roles and Responsibilities
- Create test scripts based on feature descriptions available in JIRA boards and test management tools. Develop detailed test cases, test steps, and scenarios from user stories and business requirements. Participate actively in Agile sprint ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and other team discussions. Execute both manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality and performance. Analyze test execution results, report defects, track issue status, verify fixes, and perform follow-up testing to ensure successful resolution. Debug automated test scripts and investigate abnormal test results to identify root causes. Design and execute regression, ad hoc, and bug-verification test cases to support final product quality. Identify bottlenecks in quality assurance processes and recommend improvement actions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Demonstrate knowledge of the defect/bug life cycle and quality assurance best practices. Utilize test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Qmetry, and similar platforms effectively.

- - 3-6 years of software automation testing experience using Cypress framework or equivalent - Proficient in UI, API, Functional automation testing - CI/CD continuous integration with Cypress - Knowledge of agile methodologies is desired. - Automation test scripts development execution using one or more of the following software languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, or C# in Web s windows software s.

- Soft Skills :
- - Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally, with good interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with software test principles and development cycles desired. - Experience with automated build/deployment tools, such as GitLab or Jenkins, will be an added advantage. - HVAC product knowledge will be an added advantage.
