Test Engineer

Job Title / Designation: Test Engineer
Experience: Freshers
Qualification: BE/ B-Tech - Electronics or equivalent
Job Location: Bengaluru

Role Description

Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics, electronic components, PCBs and circuit diagrams, along with familiarity with electronic test instruments, basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and good communication and documentation skills.

Desired Experience

Freshers with BE/B.Tech qualification
0 -2 years of experience in hardware testing, electronics testing or production testing is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of electronic components, circuits and test equipments.
Willingness to learn and work in a production/integration environments.
Support testing and validation for shock, vibration, drop, ingress protection, and thermal cycling.
Prepare and review engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5 standards.
Work with manufacturing and suppliers on DFM/DFA, tolerances, machining, welding, sheet metal processes.
Generate design documentation, BOMs, test plans, and ECOs.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction within the mechanical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional, electrical, and reliability testing of electronic hardware.
Execute test cases and document test results accurately.
Identify, analyze, and report hardware defects.
Assist in debugging PCB assemblies and electronic circuits.
Use electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
Follow quality standards and safety procedures during testing.
Support environmental, endurance, ESS vibration and other qualification tests as required.
