Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement test automation strategies and best practices to ensure high quality software releases.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks which includes developing and maintaining automation scripts, updating the test scripts, monitoring the framework's
• performance, and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensure that the automation framework is scalable and maintainable over time.
• Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the DEV and QA teams to ensure smooth integration of test automation
• into the software development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in test automation and incorporate them into the test
• automation strategy.
• Managing the test data that is used for automation testing. This involves ensuring the
• integrity of the data, selecting the appropriate test data for testing scenarios, and
• developing test data generation strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-3 years of experience in software testing and test automation. Experience with test automation frameworks in Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java
• Experience with TestNG/Junit
• Basic knowledge of API testing.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
