Education Qualification: Graduate in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering

Required Experience: 3 to 5 years

Responsibilities

• Conduct design verification tests, Identify failure modes & conduct root cause analysis for identified failure modes

Role Description

• Study and understand test standard requirements
• Prepare vehicle/ powertrain/ component for testing
• Design & development of fixture required for testing
• Prepare test equipment, planning of test schedule, write and execute test program
• Conduct tests and make observations as per standards & conduct root cause analysis for failures identified during testing
• Establish lab to field correlation through instrumentation, data acquisition & analysis
• Maintain records of tests, equipment, maintenance & calibration
• Preparation of test reports, test standards, work instructions and SOPs
