Test Engineer - Powertrain testing

Purpose of the role: Conduct design verification tests, Identify failure modes & conduct root cause analysis for identified failure modes

Role Description

Study and understand test standard requirementsPrepare vehicle/ powertrain/ component for testingDesign & development of fixture required for testingPrepare test equipment, planning of test schedule, write and execute test programConduct tests and make observations as per standards & conduct root casue analysis for failures identifed during testingEstablish lab to field correlation through instrumentation, data acquisition & analysisMaintain records of tests, equipment, maintenance & calibrationPreparation of test reports, test standards, work instructions and SOPs
