Test Engineer (Microfinance Lending)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, API, and database testing for Microfinance Lending applications.
• Validate end-to-end lending processes including customer onboarding, loan origination, credit assessment, disbursement, repayment, collections, and loan closure.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Support UAT activities and production validation.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of software testing experience.
• Strong domain knowledge in Microfinance Lending.
• Understanding of the complete loan lifecycle, including loan origination, servicing, collections, and recovery processes.
• Experience in Functional Testing and API Testing.
• Good understanding of SQL and Database Testing.
• Experience working in Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS).
• Hands-on experience with Postman, SQL, and defect management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Domain Requirement

Candidates must have hands-on experience in Microfinance Lending with a strong understanding of lending products, customer onboarding, loan processing, disbursement, repayments, collections, and recovery processes.

Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office preferred)
