Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manager specializing in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of warehouse management solutions within a large-scale SAP Systems Integration project. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional expertise in SAP EWM with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills. This role is pivotal in driving end-to-end warehouse transformation aligned with business objectives and project timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities: Project Leadership & Delivery- Lead the SAP EWM workstream within the SI project, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery across all project phases (Blueprint, Realization, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare). Define workstream scope, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with the overall program plan. Manage day-to-day activities of the EWM functional and technical team, including resource allocation, task prioritization, and performance oversight. Collaborate closely with the PMO, integration architects, and other workstream leads (MM, SD, PP, TM) to ensure seamless end-to-end solution design. Identify risks, issues, and dependencies proactively drive resolution and escalate where necessary.

SAP EWM Solution Design & Configuration - Lead solution design workshops and blueprint sessions for complex warehouse operations including inbound/outbound processes, putaway strategies, pick, pack & ship, and value-added services (VAS). Oversee the configuration and testing of SAP EWM modules: Warehouse Structure, Warehouse Orders, RF Framework, Labor Management, Slotting & Rearrangement, Yard Management, and Decentralized EWM (dEWM). Review and sign off on functional specifications, configuration documents (RICEF), and test scripts prepared by the team. Ensure integration points with SAP S/4HANA (MM, SD, PP, QM, TM) are correctly designed and validated. Guide the team on best-practice EWM configurations using embedded EWM on S/4HANA or standalone EWM.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's warehouse operations and logistics leadership teams. Facilitate executive-level status presentations, steering committee updates, and key decision-making sessions. Manage client expectations, scope change requests, and solution sign-off processes. Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term partnership and potential project extensions.

Team Development & Mentoring - Coach, mentor, and develop junior and senior EWM consultants within the project team. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development planning for team members. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture aligned with the firm's delivery standards.

Quality Assurance & Governance- Ensure adherence to project governance, delivery standards, and quality assurance processes. Lead internal quality reviews of deliverables prior to client submission. Monitor KPIs, project metrics, and health indicators for the EWM workstream.

Professional & Technical Skills: Leadership & Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills — ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deliverables in a fast-paced project environment. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multicultural, and geographically distributed teams. High proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).

Required Qualifications Education-

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline. Master's degree or MBA is an advantage. Experience 8–12 years of hands-on SAP consulting experience with a minimum of 5 years specializing in SAP EWM. At least 2–3 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations as a lead consultant or manager. Proven track record of leading teams on large-scale SAP SI projects (preferably S/4HANA migrations or greenfield implementations). Experience in client-facing roles within a consulting or systems integration environment.

Technical Skills — SAP EWM-

Deep expertise in SAP EWM core processes: Goods Receipt, Putaway, Stock Transfer, Goods Issue, Physical Inventory, and Replenishment. Proficiency in Warehouse Structure configuration: Warehouse Number, Storage Types, Storage Sections, Bins, and Activity Areas. Hands-on experience with RF Framework (Radio Frequency), Mobile Data Entry (MDE), and HU (Handling Unit) Management. Knowledge of Labor Management, Slotting, Rearrangement, and Exception Handling. Familiarity with Decentralized EWM (dEWM) architecture and integration with SAP TM and ERP/S/4HANA. Understanding of SAP Fiori apps for EWM and Warehouse Cockpit. Experience with ABAP-based enhancements, BAdIs, and User Exits in EWM context (ability to review and guide technical teams).

Preferred Qualifications

SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Extended Warehouse Management. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM (2020/2021/2022/2023 releases). Exposure to SAP Transportation Management (TM), SAP Yard Logistics, or SAP Global Batch Traceability (GBT). Knowledge of warehouse automation integration (conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, robotics via MFS – Material Flow System). Experience with SAP Integration Suite or middleware (BTP, MuleSoft, PI/PO) for EWM integrations. Industry expertise in Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, or Logistics & Distribution. Exposure to Agile/hybrid project delivery methodologies (SAP Activate).
