Summary: As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing lifecycle by integrating advanced tools and methodologies that ensure precision and reliability. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and implementing intelligent automation solutions that elevate the quality and predictability of software delivery across projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing frameworks and automation coverage to enhance product quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and contribute effectively.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align testing objectives with overall project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative testing solutions.
- Familiarity with quality engineering best practices and methodologies.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
