Summary:
As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing framework by integrating advanced tools and methodologies that ensure precision and reliability. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and overseeing the implementation of intelligent automation solutions that elevate the quality and integrity of deliverables across projects.

Roles Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing processes and promote best practices within the team.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align testing objectives with overall project goals.

Professional Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
- Experience with scripting languages and test automation tools and specifically Playwright is a must skill.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective test strategies using selenium and other tools
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues efficiently.
Utilization of AI tools for design, optimization and test strategies is also an added skill

Skill AreaRequirement
-Playwright AutomationStrong hands-on experience in Playwright (Java/JavaScript/TypeScript) test automation.
-Automation Framework DevelopmentExperience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
-Functional TestingStrong knowledge of Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing.
-ProgrammingGood coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
-API TestingExperience in API automation and validation using REST APIs.
-Test Management ToolsExperience with JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), ALM, Octane, or similar tools.
-CI/CDWorking knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
-Agile MethodologyExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
-Defect ManagementStrong defect tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting skills.
-LeadershipAbility to lead QA activities, mentor team members, and coordinate with stakeholders.
-Reporting MetricsExperience preparing QA dashboards, test reports, and status updates for stakeholders.

- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune Kharadi client office with 3 days RTO
- A 15 years full time education is required.
