Test Automation Engineer

Key Skills: Playwright Automation, Java, Selenium, Performance Testing

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable UI automation frameworks and test suites using Selenium, Java, and Playwright Automation.
• Execute manual, functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web applications.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and automation coverage based on product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze automation and functional test failures, isolate defects, document reproducible issues, and track them through resolution.
• Support release validation by reviewing requirements, communicating quality risks, and presenting clear technical findings to engineering and product teams.

Skills Required:

• 6 - 9 years of experience in software testing and test automation, with strong hands-on ownership of web application quality.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Selenium WebDriver for browser-based test automation.
• Strong programming experience in Java and the ability to build maintainable automation components.
• Practical experience developing and executing Playwright Automation test suites for web applications.
• Strong understanding of test case design, functional testing, regression testing, defect lifecycle management, and quality validation.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Performance Testing, including workload design and performance test execution.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
