Test Automation Engineer

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Should have done B.E or B.Tech from a reputed college or university

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline
• 3–6 years of experience in mobile application test automation using Appium
• Proven experience in Android and iOS native mobile application automation
• Experience with hardware-connected, BLE-enabled, or embedded-integrated mobile applications is a strong plus

. Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Appium mobile automation for Android and iOS
• Solid proficiency in Python for test scripting and framework development
• Strong hands-on experience with Pytest (fixtures, parametrization, markers, reporting)
• Expertise in mobile UI locator strategy and optimization
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and OS behavior
• Experience in building modular, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks
• Mobile Automation: Appium
• Test Frameworks: Pytest (Robot Framework – nice to have)
• Programming Language: Python
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps Pipelines (Jenkins exposure is a plus)
• Version Control: Git / Bitbucket
• Test Management: Jira, Confluence
• Reporting: Pytest reports / custom dashboards

Mandatory certification (if Any):

Good to have skills:

• Knowledge of Robot Framework mobile automation
• Experience testing BLE, embedded, or hardware-connected mobile applications
• REST API automation experience
• Prior exposure to cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs – optional)
