Role Description The Territory Sales Manager role at Somany Ceramics Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. This role is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory by developing and managing dealer networks, institutional clients, and project customers. The Territory Sales Manager will plan and execute sales strategies, meet revenue and volume targets, and monitor market trends and competitor activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting dealers and key accounts, conducting product presentations, ensuring proper merchandising and brand visibility, and coordinating with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and collections. The role also involves providing training and support to channel partners, addressing customer concerns, maintaining strong relationships, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to present, negotiate, and build long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven Sales skills with experience in territory management, business development, and achieving or exceeding sales targets, preferably in building materials or décor solutions.
• Customer Service skills focused on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction across dealers and institutional clients.
• Training and Sales Management skills to guide, motivate, and support dealer staff and internal teams in product knowledge and sales best practices.
• Ability to analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective sales plans.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent higher qualification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the ceramics, sanitaryware, or construction industry and local Kozhikode market dynamics is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, with a readiness to travel extensively within the territory.
