Territory Sales Manager - Field Crop

Roles:

• Manage sales and business development activities for the assigned territory.
• Lead and monitor the territory sales team.
• Develop dealer and distributor networks.
• Drive market expansion and product penetration.
• Monitor territory sales performance and market trends.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve territory-wise sales and business targets.
• Prepare and implement territory sales plans.
• Guide the sales team in achieving individual and overall targets.
• Conduct regular market visits to understand customer and market requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, and farmers.
• Monitor primary and secondary sales and ensure product availability.
• Track competitor activities, pricing, and market developments.
• Plan and conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and promotional activities.
• Collect and share market feedback with the concerned teams.
• Support new product launches and market development initiatives.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and territory performance updates.
• Address dealer and customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in agriculture/seed sales or related field sales.
• Experience in territory management, dealer/distributor handling, and business development.
• Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
