Territory Manager

Duties Responsibilities

• Manages and Owns the revenue numbers for a sales territory, vertical and/or Region within India
• Qualifies opportunities with the aim of maximizing leads.
• Plans and implements sales campaigns.
• Coordinates with solution sales, partners and professional services teams.
• Inputs ideas and participates in marketing events.
• Understands the business requirements of prospects and customers.
• Provides accurate and timely sales forecasts.
• Manages the short- and medium-term pipeline.
• Recruits and manages Sales and Implementation partners and review their pipeline regularly
• Updates and maintains CRM data base and performs weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for the assigned territory.
• Required regular travel to prospect and customer locations

Knowledge, Skills Abilities

• Proven track record of sales success
• Accomplished track record of selling multi-level to business, technical and IT people
• Business application (ERP, MES, Supply Chain and CRM)
• Background of ERP is preferred
• Ability to quickly qualify opportunities and key strategic positions for each new prospect
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management of the defined target markets
• Should be based out of Mumbai or Pune

Qualifications

• 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• Graduate in Science/Commerce or Engineering
• Masters Degree preferred.
