Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Territory Manager Distribution to manage sales, service, and channel operations in the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, strengthening distributor and retailer networks, driving secondary sales, and ensuring effective execution of company processes and policies.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

• Achievement of territory sales targets
  
• Ensuring quality and profitable sales
  
• Reducing DSO to 7 days and timely collection of C-Forms
  
• Appointment and development of new distributors
  
• Building strong relationships with retailers and carpenters to drive secondary sales
  
• Effective monthly execution of the Way of Working (WOW) format
  

Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Management

• Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors and retailers
  
• Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  
• Appoint new distributors and retailers as per company policies
  
• Manage and drive secondary sales through the distribution channel
  
• Introduce and promote new products in the market
  
• Ensure effective product display at retail outlets
  
• Conduct regular training programs for carpenters and retailer sales staff
  
• Monitor distributor sales performance, product mix, and stock levels
  
• Share market feedback, product demand trends, and quality issues with the Product Management team
  

2. Business Development

• Focus on key retailers to maximize secondary sales
  
• Conduct regular carpenter meets and technical trainings
  
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  

3. Sales Performance & Operations

• Communicate company incentive and promotional schemes to channel partners
  
• Ensure timely order placement and dispatch by distributors
  
• Follow up on C-Form collection as per company credit policy
  
• Ensure timely billing and collection to meet receivable targets
  
• Submit consolidated monthly activity and performance reports to the Manager Distribution
  

Internal Stakeholder Management

• Supply Chain: Order execution
  
• OPD: Order processing
  
• Accounts: Payments and C-Form collection
  
• Product Management: Product knowledge and market feedback
  

External Stakeholder Management

• Distributors, Retailers, and Carpenters for relationship management and sales growth
  

Candidate Profile

Education

• Essential: Graduate + Post Graduate in Management
  
• Preferred: Engineering Graduate + MBA
  

Experience

• 5-9 years of experience in Sales / Distribution
  
• Freshers may be considered for Graduate / Management Trainee roles
  

Age

• Below 28 years
