Position Details

Job Title: Territory Manager- Banca Channel

Channel: Bancassurance Channel

Locations: Kozhikode / Calicut.

Industry: Insurance (Mandatory)

Qualification: Any Graduate

Experience: 5 to 10 years in the Insurance Industry

Key Responsibilities:

Team Handling Role: 6-8 team of RM's

Sales & Business Development

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Drive life insurance sales through partner bank branches.
• Generate leads and convert them into insurance business.
• Ensure consistent growth in premium collection and policy issuance.
• Identify new business opportunities within the assigned banking network.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Branch Managers and bank staff.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the insurance company and partner bank branches.
• Resolve partner concerns and ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
• Conduct regular branch visits and business reviews.

Training & Activation

• Train bank employees on insurance products, sales processes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct joint customer meetings with bank relationship managers.
• Organize sales campaigns, customer awareness programs, and branch activation activities.
• Motivate bank staff through engagement and recognition programs.

Customer Engagement

• Understand customer financial and protection needs.
• Recommend suitable insurance solutions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation and policy issuance processes.

Performance Monitoring

• Track branch-wise sales performance.
• Analyze sales trends and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Monitor productivity and business conversion ratios.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company policies.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and records.
• Follow ethical selling practices and customer-first principles.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Premium achievement against target.
• Number of policies sold.
• Active bank branch productivity.
• Lead conversion ratio.
• Customer retention and persistency.
• Training sessions conducted.
• Partner engagement score.

Eligibility Criteria:

Experience in Life Insurance is mandatory

Strong Banca channel exposure

Proven people management and leadership capabilities

Track record of driving business growth and team productivity
