Territory In-charge - Retail & Bulk Petroleum Business

Job Description

1. Job Purpose

To be the first line contact to generate leads and setting up of Retail outlets by identification of Potential Dealers and site selection for DODO and COCO.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development

• Supervising Development of the Retail network by identifying new locations and monitoring Traffic study analysis & Negotiation with prospective Dealers.
• Land and Dealer Selection for COCO, DODO and CODOs and sending proposal to HO for consideration and getting approval.

Project Management

• Coordination with Projects and Procurement team for timely supply of vendor Materials like Tanks, Dispensers, Canopy, Totem, Construction vendor mobilisation etc. for all Retail Outlets under the Territory.
• Complete commissioning of RO’s within specified time.

Statutory Related

• Follow up and support to the DODO’s to getting of all NOCs from respective authorities and stick to all statutory compliances. For COCO and CODO responsible for arranging the same
• Responsible for the Relationship Management with Govt. Official such as –Gram Panchayat, Fire Dept. Police, District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioner, PWD Office, Commercial Taxation, Pollution Control Board, NHAI, Electricity Board, Legal Metrology, Local PESO Office etc.
• Liaise with Pollution control board, Metrology & PESO department for approval of licences.
• Coordinating and monitoring for all statutory approvals, construction & development of RO.
• Submit applications as per norms to licensing authorities.

Marketing Operations

• Responsible for Preparation of Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly/Quarterly/ Half Yearly and Annual MIS reports for Management Review.
• Regular meeting with Dealers and advice Dealers on Operations, safety standards and routine inspection of ROs.
• Identify training needs of staff and Conduct on-site training.
• Recommendation of staff for company training.
• Follow up on legal cases in coordination with Corporate Legal team.
• Maintain high standards of Q&Q and redress of customer complaints at RO.
• Overseeing the training requirements and arranging for DODO/CODO Staffs in forecourt.

Sales and Marketing

• Achieving the Planned Sales Volume for the Retail Outlets and Bulk Sales in the Territory.
• Responsible for ensuring Dealers are Selling MS/HSD/any other products as per management approved RSP ( Retail Selling Price)
• Proposing Promotional activities to be conducted at the RO's to management and get approval.
• Monitoring & avoid product dry outs at the RO’s.
• Liaise with supply points for timely Supplies.

2. Educational Qualifications

• Graduate and Post graduate in Marketing Management.

3. Total Years of Experience:

• 8 to 10 years of experience

• Product knowledge and retail policies (Petrol/Diesel)
• Managing channel partners and networking
• Knowledge of Retail operations and selling skills
• Negotiation skills and strong communication
• Interpersonal skills

5. Travel required

• Frequently within Territory.
