Tendering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Portal Management (GeM & E-Procurement): End-to-end management of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. Responsibilities include products listing, inventory/catalog updates, bid participation, and reverse auction management.

Tender Identification & Analysis: Regularly monitor GeM, CPPP, and state-specific e-tender portals to identify relevant government and private opportunities.

Bid Preparation & Compliance: Prepare and compile technical and commercial bids, ensuring exact compliance with tender terms, legal requirements, and financial matrices (EMD, PBG, Tender Fees).

Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise seamlessly with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) to gather required documentation and ensure timely submission before deadlines.

Relationship Management: Track tender statuses, handle post-bid clarifications, and liaise with government departments and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 10 to 20 years of hands-on experience handling Government Tenders, specifically on the GeM portal and standard e-procurement sites.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of GeM guidelines, bidding processes, and general tendering concepts e.g. L1, L2, price rankings.

Digital Literacy: Proficiency with MS Office and PDF tools. Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical thinking, and high attention to detail.

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
